I had a look at the tarball. There is .svn directory included in
kernel-patches/. 

I've also noticed that some directories have been removed from the
release file, compared to the version in trunk/. I've been using a
checkout from trunk/ as the base tarball for Ubuntu. I don't think that
the changes you made in the release file will have an impact. Once 2.1
is released, we may use use the official tarball.

However if there are some depreciated directories (module,
module-depreciated,managment/libaalogparse for example), why not
removing them from the repository ?
