[Apparmor-general] permission denied at boot, but is fine later on?

Or the audit.log was rotated in the meantime and logprof therefore 
doesn't see the log entry anymore. Try
    logprof -f /var/log/audit/audit.log.1
to run logprof against the last rotated audit.log.

If logprof still doesn't report anything, then it really sounds like a 
bug.
