Obviously not - looks it requires a confirmation every _sender_, but 
still sends its messages to the mailinglist.

I'm afraid the best solution is to (force-)unsubscribe this user and ask 
him to use a "normal" mail address for the mailinglist.
BTW: Nearly perfect spam filtering is possible with some blacklists etc. 
Confirmation mails are a PITA as we can see here...
