[Bsd-sharp-list] FYI: writing web applications with Mono/C# using FastCGI

Hello folks,

I wanted to know whether it is possible to write web applications without
using xsp and mod_mono. The only methods that have to be considered are
CGI and FastCGI, but I supposed that there might be performance problems.
So I did a quick benchmark, and the answer is: It works quite well.

My setup is FreeBSD 7.0-200704 with Apache 2.2. I used libfcgi (www/fcgi)
to write FastCGI-enabled Mono applications.
