Dear maintainer of f-stop,
i have seen f-stop on the laptop of a friend, who uses Debian/Ubuntu.
And the program looks good to me. I myselve use FreeBSD (6.2) and I
installed it from the ports. The installation is OK, but when I tried
to start, it complains about dbus not running.
This is quite right; when I try to start dbus - exactly hald - the
machine panics immediately. So I run my computer without it (because
I can do nearly anything "the old way").
On the other hand f-spot looks quit good to me (and a lot of pictures
wait for a more systematic storing ;) So my question is, is it
possible to run without dbus? I know I have to mount my CF-card by
hand then.
Thank you for your answere and many greetings from the Baltic Sea
Karsten
