I would do that once I find the root cause. But generally
I don't think Mono/Novell support FreeBSD/amd64.

I used one of the applications we run
on mono for the tests.

No, test submit application was doing that.

The application serves as middle ware
between few parties which exchange messages.
Each message is in XML and encdoded in UTF-16
and is submitted using POST requests.

This is hardly relevant, what is more relevant
is the size of the packet, about 12kb (without
headers). I guess the more you increase the
packet the easier it will be to notice the problem.

I do not have a clear test case to explain why
this is happening as I didn't dig further, because I was in
dire need to get it working.

Haven't tried with 1.2.3 yet, but will, at some point.
