[Bsd-sharp-list] Updating via mono-merge fails

Fellow FreeBSD Mono Enthusiasts,

First, I've tried to subscribe to this list countless times via the 
subscribe link on page:

http://www.mono-project.com/Mono:FreeBSD

and never got a response.  I finally went to the BSD# Project page on 
Forge.Novell.com and subscribed via the subscribe link on that page 
successfully.  Does the mono-project page need to be updated?

And, now for my recent problem.  I've had Mono(mod_mono, etc.) running on 
my FreeBSD(6.2) box for some time now and have been keeping up to date 
with the mono-merge script.  The last few times I've tried to run 
mono-merge it's failed saying it couldn't create a directory in /tmp and 
that there were too many links.  Is this a known problem?  Does anyone 
know the solution?
