What would happen if somebody extended the SimpleServer with better
administration capabilities?

Basically, iFolder Enterprise Server is an integrated product of Novell's Open
Enterprise Server. It has all the management tools for iFolder, and is
integrated into the management of the server. SimpleServer is just that a
simple iFolder server. If you want to add users you have to manually edit an
xml file, and it is just rougher around the edges in just about every respect.
That said, I use SimpleServer on my small Linux box and it works just fine,
although I would never in my right mind try to administer a SimpleServer with
more than a dozen users.

Hello,

I'm new to iFolder and I have questions about it :

1) I want to try to build and try Simias SimpleServer on Debian and
Ubuntu Breezy. I've followed this guide :
http://www.evolutioncolt.com/~spayne/blog/?p=165
--> I have a compilation error :

./../tools/gsoap/linux-2.7/wsdl2h: error while loading shared
libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory

2) What are the differences (features) between the "iFolder Enterprise
Server" and the SimpleServer ?

3) I couldn't find package for iFolder on Debian or Ubuntu. Apparently,
it's a problem of license :

&highlight=ifolder

Is iFolder just a thing from Novell engineers to Novell customers ?

Thanks.
