What are you compiling? I installed without kdepim-dev, it's not 
installed. (I don't have your original mail).

Some Wiki-like info: For Kubuntu Dapper, you need to apt-get: 
kdebase-dev, kde-dev, libx11-dev, x-dev. I think some/all of these are 
meta-packages. It leaves out some extras for audio etc., but it gives 
you a "vanilla" Tellico.
