That's pretty much what I'm shooting for. You don't have to have a SQL
server running to use amarok, for example, but you can use one if you want.
Right now, I'm starting with just using the system-installed copy of kexidb.
Depending on where things are when I get the backend done, I might include
a copy of kexidb in the tellico tree, I don't know. I'm not sure I want to
make koffice a dependency for tellico, but I don't know how many packagers
actually break kexi out into it's own package, or better yet, kexidb alone.
So maybe it will end up looking like the btparse library does right now,
Tellico can use the system copy or compile using it's own copy internally.
We'll see...
