audio CD import: tellico crashes

Well, I'm having a little more trouble reproducing this than I thought. It 
crashes in my development tree, but whenever I compile or run as a 
different user, then it doesn't. Very puzzling. Could be beyond my meager 
debugging skills...

Does it crash no matter which CD you have in the drive?
