I tried it with 10 CDs and tellico crashed for each of them.
I do not know which libs are used by amarok but it is also a KDE tool and it
reads the CD data from cddb.org too. amarok shows the CD data correctly
without crashing. If it uses the same KDE methods it is likely that the bug
can be found in tellico.
