Excessive memory usage

I really love this program, and how responsive Robby has been to feature
requests. Thank you.
My problem is that tellico uses a tremendous amount of memory. It runs
quickly enough, but saving takes very long, and with every save it grabs more
memory that it doesn't give back. I have input about 10% of my CD collection
into a DB and saving uses so much memory that I have to restart tellico after
every save. (I have 320548 kB plus 500432 kB swap). A single save reaches
about 95% of total (RAM + swap) memory.
Suggestions?
