Well, this gives some nice informations about the format for the Dutch
ISBN numbers, but not much more unfortunately.

It probably just has a good list of databases set up...

After a little bit of searching, I just found a z39.50 server which
seems to have some informations available.
In the properties, at the Data Sources section, add a source with the
following parameters :
Host : www.agralin.nl
Port : 210
Database : clcz3950
Character set : marc8
Format : USMARC
If it doesn't provide all you need, you will have to search for a more
complete z39.50 server.
