I have sent e-mails to a number of book sites, and asked them if public
access to their ISBN (z39.50 of other) databases is possible.

The only one who have sent me an reply so far was the belgian site Proxis.
Apparently they do use their own database, but use the database
from the www.boekenbank.be site.
I already sent an e-mail to this "boekenbank" site.

As soon as I receive an answer from any of these sites, I will let you know,
It would be great if you could make a script for these dutch or belgian 
sites !    :-)
