Yes, every time following this steps ends with one image loss. But i've just
made another observation:
1. i deleted all files from ~/.kde/share/apps/tellico
(there was over 500 jpeg files - you can see here:
http://www.ceti.pl/~wozniakk/tc/apps_data.zip)
2. During opening of CleanFull2.tc i get a LOT of missing images report !
3. In tellico images are SHOWN in LIST view of entries but when i SELECT this
entry, there are NO image (ex: http://www.ceti.pl/~wozniakk/tc/tellico1.png)
4. After saving the number of images are reduced to 163 from over 280 !
(the number is persistent, i tried several times)
5. By putting back the apps/tellico files i have the images back:
(ex: http://www.ceti.pl/~wozniakk/tc/tellico2.png)
I'm puzzled WHY You haven't got such problems ? may be it is some bug in
kdelibs?, cpp compiler or something weird ?
my machine: Ubuntu Dapper
Qt: 3.3.6
KDE: 3.5.5
C++: 4.0.3
Oh i've just made another observation !!!
- I removed configuration file ~/.kde/share/config/tellicorc
- there is no files in ~/.kde/share/apps/tellico
- i'm loading CleanFull2.tc ..... and..... everything IS FINE !!! all images
present !!! after save ALL IMAGES are there !!!
- i try to test previous steps of duplicating and deleting entries and .... NO
BUG ! images are stil there .... WTF !???
- i realised that the look of tellico changed because of new configuration
file, especialy there is NO IMAGE column in entry list
- i added image column to entry list
- then i reloaded tellico and .... MISSING OVER 100 images !!!!
the bug is definitely connected with IMAGE column in database list ! please
confirm that on Your machine ;-)
> Thanks for going through this with me.
noo it me who should thank You for such great application ;-)
