To be frank, I'm a bit reluctant to add a field type for code snippets using 
a kate-part. That's rather heavy, and a very niche use case. Can you 
explain what gets messed up on copy/paste? Maybe there's an easy way to 
make sure the clipboard doesn't lose formatting info.
