The custom collection fields will save up to 10 different file-specific
config options such as visible fields, and order, etc. You're right,
putting them in the data file itself would probably be the best way tom
implement what you suggest. But since I'm likely going to be moving away
from the XML data file format, I probably won't put the work in to do that.
And I'll try to keep your case in mind and figure out a way to have it work
for future data files.

Right, the HTML export uses the fields currently visible and in that order.
