more memory leaks at 1.2?

Can you try the current SVN version? I've reworked some of the loading, and 
I think it may help. And I did find and fix another memory leak when 
loading images larger than the cache size, too.

To tell you the truth, I don't know what all the kio_file processes are. 
They stick around a while for me and then go away. I'm not sure what I'm 
doing to cause them.

It's not so much creating the thumbnail as it is loading the whole image, 
writing it to disk, etc. etc. 

I think I improved things a bit more, so if anyone can check with the SVN 
code and let me know, that'd be great. Otherwise, I'll probably have 1.2.1 
ready this week sometime.
