Tellico cannot set file owner & lost images.

It look always in ~/.kde/share/apps/tellico/data. Is the content OK?
Maybe you should create a backup just in case bad thing happen ...

OK, the same username, but also the same ID? The ID is stored in
/etc/passwd (third column). If you installed a new system but still
access data from your old home partition it is indead possible that you
have a simple permission problem. This would not be related to tellico.
Compare your current ID with the ID of saved files (ls -ln *.tc, third
column), are the the same? Can you open the tellico file in an ordinary
text editor and save it (make a backup before!)?
Maybe your old mounted filesystem is only mounted read-only? Can you
create files in it?
