Thanks Robby. I tried a very similar solution but didn't have sufficient
spare time and don't know the data structures well enough to finished it.
I hoped to find errors in your code which I could fix but failed :-)
It seems to work well. I even tried to sort a column containing a dependent
field and deleted this field (without changing the sorting order) but got no
crash.
I wonder why you first check for title formatting instead of dependent
fields when creating a ListViewComparison. But it seems it is not
possible to enable title formatting for dependent fields so it is OK.
I also tried to create a report to test sorting there too and noticed
that sorting is not yet fixed there. Also sorting groups in the left
widget does not yet respect dependent fields. Nevertheless I find the
current solution useful.
I selected "three column" report, waited two minutes until tellico
processed the collection and got finally: "This template is only
suitable for video collections". You can do it better: first check this
before you start processing data!
