Why is "Copy BibTeX to clipboard" deactivated after edit?

Hi there,

every time I edit an entry, the menu option "Collection|Copy BibTeX to 
clipboard" is deactivated. I first have to move the cursor to another 
entry and back again to reactivate this menu entry and do the copying.

This really is annoying, since it is a common operation to first 
change/create an entry and then cite it.
