Covers of DVDs disapear

The default setting for Tellico is to save the images in the .tc data file 
itself. There's also an option to turn that off and to save the images in 
~/.kde/share/apps/tellico/data/ instead which is faster. Which option are 
you using? You can check by opening the configuration dialog and looking at 
the "General" page.

If this is just happening with a small database, you can email that to me 
directly, and I can see if the bug is reproduceable.
