Major localisation (translation) bug in tellico!?

Hi,

as I already wrote I have a problem with the localisation of tellico.

I started tellico a few days ago and created a new stamp collection
(consisting of a single stamp for now :-). I noticed a few translation
errors which I fixed.

After this I rebuilt tellico, installed it and removed the package of my
Linux distribution to ensure that the updated translation is used. I
even restarted my computer, analysed embedded strings in the binary and
my temporary directories to find old cached data.

I did not found the reason for still getting the old German strings.
I started the program using KDE_LANG=ru tellico and got indeed Russian
messages, but only a few! If you assume all non Russian strings are
English because of an incomplete translation you're wrong! I still got a
few German strings, again containing the errors I already fixed.

Happily I found the problem: The collection I created contains these
strings in the embedded XML file :-))
So I just deleted my collection (which is started by default on each
start of tellico) and the problem vanished. Great!!!

This is probably only a very minor problem but I think you agree that it
needs to be fixed because:
 * I got nightmares because of the current bahaviour :-)
 * A collection cannot be shared between users which speak different
   languages.
 * Broken strings in the collection will not be updated once it is fixed
   in tellico.
 * Choosing another locale results in mixed language usage.

How to solve it? I don't know, but probably these strings should be
written untranslated into the collection file and translated on load.
(It is always a bad idea to write translated strings to config/data/...
files.)

How to process user supplied entries? Maybe it is possible to add (or
better to include) a translation catalog into the XML file which can be
edited by the user?
