How does Tellico handle when the option is check or
unchecked in the general options to store images to the file
for the folder?
Does it just move the images back and forth?

There was no complaining from Tellico.
I just started Tellico and found most of my covers gone.
I recall Tellico asking me at one point with my growing
database asking me something along the lines about where to
save the images, I recall stating the directory.
In fact that option was checked after all my covers had gone
missing.
