Spurious(?) ISBN failures with 1.3.3

I've been making heavy use of the multiple-entry ISBN lookup dialog, and
am getting a lot of apparently spurious error messages about failures
when doing the ISBN search after entering all the numbers and hitting
search. *Most* of the time, this doesn't appear to be real missing
ISBNs, as the majority of the ISBN numbers end up successfully
populated.

I couldn't find a debug or logging option to turn on, so I don't have
anything to show you, and it's not reproducible all the time even on my
system. Has anyone else encountered this?
