Hallo Jens
ich habe heute früh meine Frage an Robby neu in Englisch formuliert.
Vielen Dank für Deine Hilfe.
Aber ich laß mir auch gern von Dir weiterhelfen.

Hi Robby,

excuse me please for writing German.

1. I do not like the use of Amazon.
I would prefer a regional database like www.buchkatalog.de. This is a
correction to my first idea. Unfortunatly you cannot use the VLB (in english:
register of available books) because you must pay for it. This last database
is neutral and the nearly opposit to Amazon.
But can you give me a hint to use www.buchkatalog.de? I found no way to
integrate it into tellico.
Buchkatalog belongs to one of 4 german wholesalers. And my wife - she's a
bookseller - use it too.

2. Surely you know the ISSN. Its the code for magazins and newspapers.
Sometimes its necessary to take such materials into the database in tellico. I
thought for an equal procedure to catch magazins like books. But I fear,
there is no database in the background.

Thanks
Albrecht
