question about sorts in a custom collection

No, not too surprising.  I got one very helpful direct reply suggesting a
way of doing this, which is probably practical.  It will not be too hard to
edit the xml to pad out the entries with zeros to make the sort work. 
Natural sort might be nice if you ever feel like looking into it, but this
will probably be a viable workaround.  Thanks!
