No, not necessarily. Templates installed in /usr/share/apps/tellico/report-
templates/ should work without being copied to your home dir. The tellico-
common.xsl file is the only one that really needs to be copied, because if 
you write any of your own templates, they probably reference it.

To get the tips to show, open ~/.kde/share/config/tellicorc and look for 

[TipOfDay]
RunOnStart=false

Change that to true, and restart Tellico.
