OK, should I then uninstall the one from the 2009.1 repositories and then
install the 32 bit rpm from for instance rpmfind? Or would it be better to
install from source?
And will the earlier version run under KDE4 OK, or do I have to make changes
to that also?
It sort of bears out my impression that if you once get a working copy of
Mandriva, burn incense, give thanks, and do not under any circumstances
upgrade! But the temptation is, its so easy for non-technical end users....
