Hi,

Attached are some training materials/instructions for manually
installing Xen (unstable change set 8728) on SLES 10 Beta 3.  

Change set 8728 is posted on the Xen Technical Preview site
http://forge.novell.com/modules/xfmod/project/?xenpreview under the
"files" tab.  These new kernel and hypervisor RPMs will work fine with a
SLES 10 Beta 3 installation and will enable you to get an earlier look
at Xen on SLES 10 Beta 3.5 due later this week.  This of course assumes
you already have access to SLES 10 Beta 3.

YAST modules in support of Xen installation on SLES 10 are still in
development but will be much improved in Beta 3.5.  For now please use
these manual procedures.  We will provide updates as they become
available.

The lab exercise doc describes how to do a manual installation of a
paravirtualized SLES 10 guest and, with appropriate hardware support, a
fully virtualized Windows XP guest.  For testing purposes we used our
MSDN subscriptions to obtain the Windows ISO images and license keys.
