This is a bug we are working through and hope to have fixed very
soon(TM)...

 It looks like you may have a problem with the filesystem on hda1.  The
default in SLES 10 installs these days is for hda1 to be swap and hda2
to be the boot drive so you may have overlooked that in your choice of
boot disk in your config file.

There are a couple of things you can do.  Issue number 2 is fixed in
RC1 and so you could try that when it comes out.  You could also fix
issue number 2 by opening up your config file and changing the disk line
to have hda2 instead of hda1 in it and try again.  Not sure when issue
#1 will be fixed but a DVD install works pretty well in RC1 if you
change the proposal during the install to not try and install your
system to the DVD (using defaults you will need to change the disk
proposal to use hda(the image file) instead of hdb (the DVD)). This last
issue should be fixed in RC2.
