Hi,

right now I'm doing it also with dir-install, all packages where
installed, but I had a problem with the kernel-package, there where
problems generating the initrd - I will check this later!
There also had been problems with non working package-selection, 2,6GB
for just a "Minimal system" seems to be a little bit too much!

I was trying several times to make a domU-installation of SL 10.1 via
Xen-YaST-installer on two different machines, but had no success. First
it was problematic to get an installation-source, the DVD (as medium or
iso) does not work at all, with CDs the installation starts but fails at
different points :-(

The installation of SLES 10RC1 on the SL 10.1-system with the
Xen-YaST-installer before worked, the installation of SL 10.1 on a PC
from the DVD, CDs or the iso's also is working.

So I don't know where the problem is, but at the moment the "manual"
installation of domU's works as best for me!
