No matter what the BIOS might be telling you - the feature is still
disabled (see Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures Software
Developer’s Manual Volume 3B if you want to know the technical
background). Either your BIOS is broken in that respect, or you
failed to power cycle (not just reset or otherwise reboot) the
machine after enabling the feature.
