[xenpreview-dev] SLES10 Xen supported configurations

For each of the following cases, could you please advise if the
configuration is supported by Novell?

 

1.	Adding modules to /boot/initrd-xen 
2.	Virtual machines not created with the yast vm tools interface 
3.	Using ext3 as a virtual machine's root filesystem 
4.	Booting a virtual machine using nfs root 
5.	Increasing the number of loop devices (and how would you
recommend the user do this?) 

 

What are the supported maximum values for:

*         Number of virtual machines

*         Number of virtual nics per virtual machine

*         Memory size for a virtual machine

*         Number of loop devices
