Hi,

we are also using SLES-9. Although we try to update every new installed
system to SLES-10, we have the problem that some software from third party
vendors (not OSS) is still only supported under SLES-9. Because some of
these products are some years old they will never be supported under
SLES-10. So they are still supported but frozen. What we would like to do
is, to consolidate these systems in a Xen cluster, but therefor SLES-9 has
to run under Xen SLES-10.

The sles9 code has not been tested or ported forward since last fall. I am
surprised it boots as far as your mail seems to indicate. We are still
debating internally if we would productize sles 9 pv kernel. Your input
here would be very useful.
